About The Band

Action Item is a Pop/Rock band from Bergen County, New Jersey. These boys are ready to turn heads and take on the future with their genuine and passionate melodies, along with their hard-driven work ethic. 2012 is going to be their year. After releasing The Stronger The Love in 2010, these 5 boys from New Jersey are on track to be stars. Past tours with acts like Hot Chelle Rae, We The Kings, Allstar Weekend, Honor Society & more have made Action Item one of the most buzzed acts of this past year. Not to mention 3 singles on Radio Disney, the most recent being “Learn To Fly” which was produced by Nick Jonas. “The Stronger The Love” EP, (released August 2010) has gone on to sell close to 20,000 copies & has had successful placement on multiple television shows. The boys finished out the album cycle in October with “The Stronger The Love Tour” ending in November 2011. The tour was a massive success, selling out multiple venues throughout the country & finished by drawing over 1,000 people to the final show in New Jersey. Now Brian, Anthony, Daniel, Mark & David are kicking off 2012 by recording highly anticipated new music, followed by a tour supporting Andy Grammer and a tour supporting their friends Hot Chelle Rae. Keep an eye & an ear out for Action Item in 2012, because this will be without a doubt, their breakout year.

Action Item Facts

- The name Action Item comes after hearing the reference in the movie Fight Club. They were watching it in Anthony’s basement. They looked up its meaning, liked it, and it just stuck.
-How the band started: Brian grew up with David and Dan. He and David went to school with Dan’s younger brother. The three of them met Anthony through a mutual friend while they were in high school. Anthony ended up jamming with them. They met Mark when they stole him from a rival band that broke up.
- The band started as a quartet, with Mark joining the band later on.
- It took 2 years on and off to record The Stronger The Love.
- Action Item is unsigned.
